Let me just start by saying that I have disliked Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam for a long time. I've never like that nasty grungy voice of his, but he rocked it out on this album. I think he found a solid sound here, much different from Pearl Jam. This was a great movie, by the way, and the music was a perfect fit. I have to recommend listening to "Rise" and "Hard Sun" for starters.
